Just when we've recovered from learning Steel Magnolias is returning to theaters this spring with Turner Classic Movies (TCM) for a limited run, we get wind of this...

On Sunday, March 24th and Wednesday, March 27th the movie adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird will land on the silver screen in select theaters across the country. The showing of the beloved 1962 film starring Gregory Peck is part of TCM's and Fathom Events fourth annual "TCM Big Screen Classics." The full lineup will include 14 movies throughout the course of the year.

In addition to To Kill A Mockingbird and Steel Magnolias, other films include being featured The Wizard of Oz, Hello, Dolly! for its 50th anniversary, and When Harry Met Sally, celebrating its 30th anniversary. All films will be played for audiences in their original aspect ratio, so you can travel back in time to your 1989 theater-going self.
