Calling All Ree Drummond Fans: Pawhuska Is the Place to Be This Fourth of July
Reroute your GPS.
Ree Drummond and her adopted hometown of Pawhuska, Oklahoma are giving Erin Napier and her sweet holiday plans for the Fourth of July in Laurel, Mississippi a run for their money.
As announced on instagram, The Pioneer Woman Mercantile will be throwing one heck of an Independence Day bash. Dubbed the Patriotic Party on the Prairie, residents and visitors alike can expect plenty of action in the small ranching town of Pawhuska. "Bring your friends, family, appetites, and PARTY HATS to Pawhuska this Fourth of July! The fun kicks off at 10:00 sharp the morning of the fourth with live music, all-you-can-eat barbecue (and other great food!), street vendors, a mechanical bull, face painting, a photo booth, entertainment for all...and at dusk, the craziest downtown fireworks display you've ever seen! You don’t want to miss the fun! P-town knows how to party," the caption reads.
The headlining act will be Jake Hooker & The Outsiders, an old-school country-style band, and the other musical guests are Mark Chamberlain & the Whiskey Poets, 3 Piece Biscuit, and Riders Ford.
Something tells us attendees are going to want to wear comfortable shoes, bring plenty of sunscreen to reapply throughout the day, and drink plenty of water.
