Love the allure of vintage train travel? Love costume parties? Love whiskey? Aye, aye, aye.

Well, do we have the Nashville event for you: On Saturday, September 14th, Wine on the Rails, hosted by Muddy Roots Music, will launch its first Tennessee Whiskey Train, departing from the Tennessee Central Railway Museum in Nashville. On the six-hour journey through the Upper Cumberland and back to Nashville, guests will travel on a 1950s American Streamliner train as they sample Tennessee whiskies, moonshine, wine, and craft beer. As you sip and ride bands will perform a variety of Americana, country, blues, and bluegrass music, providing the ultimate live soundtrack to your adventure. For most Wine on the Rails outings, guests are encouraged to dress up in vintage costumes (hosts dress up too!) that harken back to the '50s. For this roots music fest, passengers may want their attire to channel a '60s/70s feel. If you ask us, this end-of-summer ride sounds like an amazing excuse for a vacation.

Boarding for the event is at 11:00am and the train is expected to return to Nashville at around 5:00pm. Guests must be 21 and older to attend. Currently, tickets cost $109.95 and you can buy them online here. To keep the party rolling after you return, you may also want to buy tickets to Nashville's AmericanaFest, which runs September 10th through 15th.

If you can't make it to Nashville for the September blowout, there are several other upcoming Wine on the Rails trains. See the full schedule here.

Now, we've got some fashion scoping on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to do, a whiskey palate to refine, and a few friends to text about this one.
